beautiful kelsey at beautiful byron bay

all my life I've loved landscapes / seascapes - and for very nearly as long I've loved the female form . . . I often go for sojourns exploring the wonderful australian coastline and photographing it - a very satisfying thing to do . . . but often I have a pang of regret that I don't have a beautiful model to shoot in those locations (unfortunately I don't carry one with me in my camera bag)

for some years I've been in love with byron bay as a location . . . my wife and I have bought a town house there and we spend a few weeks up there each year . . . but I've rarely had the opportunity to shoot a model in my favourite byron bay locations

but that situation was rectified a few weeks ago thanks to my friend andy who introduced me to lovely kelsey

in the images below you'll see her photographed on kings beach at broken head and at the head of tallow lagoon midway along the 7 kilometre stretch of tallow beach . . . the tanin-stained waters produced by melaleuca and other trees makes for a strangely beautiful scene, and kelsey's pale skin contrasts with it incredibly beautifully
